The last frontier of an animal is within its skull. Scholars have been puzzled for about 2,000 years by how nervous system changes behavior. Gradually, we are revealing the answer now. With the breakthrough in modern image technologies, we can see single neurons deep inside a brain, just as visualizing single circuit within a computer CPU. So let’s take a look, with the aid of Augmented Reality technology, inside a transparent fruit fly brain created by researchers from the Brain Research Center in National Tsing Hua University and trigger behaviors by controlling the connections among neurons.
